Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- granulated sugar to sprinkle on top
Instructions
- mix first 5 ingredients.
- blend in flour, soda, cream of tartar.
- cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours.
- Heat oven to 375.
- Divide dough in half, roll to 3/16ths of an inch on cutting board.
- Cut, place on parchment paper.
- Bake 7-8 min or until light brown on edges
